Seven teams received first-place votes in the Week 2 AP Top 25 Poll, including four different SEC teams. Florida State, which received 46 first-place votes, remained No. 1 in the AP Poll. The Seminoles are followed by Alabama, Oregon, Oklahoma then Auburn in the top five. 

Georgia, which received two first-place votes, jumped up six spots to No. 6. Texas A&M, which also received two first-place votes, jumped up 12 spots to No. 9. LSU, ranked No. 12, received one first-place vote.
