As the team prepares to face Wisconsin, they will do so with the memory of redshirt freshman Jakell Mitchell, who was shot and killed Dec. 14 . The Tigers will sport decals with Mitchell’s No. 31 on their helmets.

It’s an extremely special day for the Tigers because January 1 would have been Mitchell’s 19th birthday.
Auburn couldn’t get the win but ironically lost 34-31, they scored many points as Mitchell’s number.
