Cunningham believes that home-cooked meals are the “magnets” that bring families together. Next month she will publish “Cooking with Children” for future Fannie (and Freddie) Farmers. She hopes to turn out a generation of “little missionaries” dedicated to stamping out the “gobble and go” meal of delivered or prepackaged food. Unlike Moro’s lasagna, prepared frozen entrees will never lead to shared family memories. Says Cunningham: “Can you picture anybody saying, ‘Do you remember that Lean Cuisine that we had?’”
