The Cavaliers were hoping to have their second-leading scorer back for Thursday night’s game against Louisville, but Anderson has been ruled out for his eighth straight game.
Anderson was averaging 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in his breakout junior season. It is still unknown whether or not he’ll be able to return for the ACC Tournament.
Virginia (28-1, 16-1 ACC) is currently projected to be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
