Barber did make the trip to Tallahassee with the team but it was reported earlier in the day that Barber was seen in street clothes and there were rumors he’d sit out. N.C. State has confirmed he won’t be playing.
It’s unclear who in Barber’s family passed away, but his last tweet mentions his “lil brother.”
Barber is averaging 11 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 30 minutes per game for the Wolfpack this season.
