You would be hard-pressed to find a professional sports team that doesn't have at least one athlete that participates in a commercial for a car dealership, home repair company or regional bank.

Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Hartnell recently appeared in a advertisment for the Cherry Hill Audi dealership outside of Philadelphia, and well, it's definitely worth your four minutes.

While Hartnell doesn't exactly ooze charisma, he pulls off the advertisment perfectly. Sure, the ad doesn't make you want to buy an Audi any more than before you watched it, but you watch it anyways.

But if you're thinking that this tongue-in-cheek advertisment is the first of its kind, you're wrong. In fact, hockey players and goofy car dealership commercials are more common than you think.
