How much Baylor football coach Art Briles knew about Ukwuachu’s reported problems in Boise caused a back-and-forth between him and former Boise State coach Chris Petersen.
The Ukwuachu case has led to heavy scrutiny of the Baylor football program and its leadership, as well as the athletic department and the university as a whole. Ukwuachu was sentenced to 180 days in county jail in Waco, Texas, and 10 years’ probation.
