Bayonetta 3 opens the stage to multiple Bayonettas, each with their own style and different types of costumes, so it won’t be out of the realm of possibility that you see one truly fantastic look and want to change to another later on.

Of course, nothing beats Bayonetta’s default costumes. She can rock some seriously awesome looks like no other heroine can. And whether she’s sporting long or short hair or gorgeous braids, she always knows how to accessorize. It helps that even her weapons look great with her clothes, though. Someone has to tell us where she shops.

In Bayonetta 3, you’ll be collecting a variety of different weapons, equipment, and outfits throughout the storyline. Curious about how to change Bayonetta’s clothes in her latest game? We’ve got everything you need to know about doing so. Here’s how to change outfits in Bayonetta 3.

How to Change Outfits in Bayonetta 3

First, if you want to change outfits in Bayonetta 3, you need to complete the game. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to do any customization until you have one playthrough under your belt. So you’ll need to spend plenty of time with the Umbra Witch if you want to change up her clothes or any other character’s.

Once you’ve done that and you’ve started a new game, all you need to do to change your outfit is load up a level and then press the “minus” button (-) on your controller. This will load the menu. From there, you can use the L or R buttons to swap between tabs until you see the costume selection.

Simply choose the costume you’d like to wear as well as the color and hair color you want to swap in with it. Press the “A” button to confirm and you’ll change your outfit successfully. You can do this as many times as you want, and there are several different outfits to choose from. Make Bayonetta, Jeanne, and Viola yours and revel in how stylish you can really be in this game.

Bayonetta 3 is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
