While Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor didn’t have that much of an impact Sunday, he didn’t need to with linebackers K.J. Wright, Bruce Irvin and Bobby Wagner leading the way in a 26-0 blanking of the Bears at CenturyLink Field.

The Bears (0-3) were held to 146 yards of total offense as the Seahawks (1-2) were able to get their first win of the season despite having their own offensive issues. The Bears punted 10 times on 10 possessions. The only time they kicked off was to open the second half and Seahawks rookie Tyler Lockett returned it 105 yards to give the Seahawks a 13-0 lead.
The Seahawks offense finally got into the end zone when Russell Wilson connected with tight end Jimmy Graham for a 30-yard touchdown with 4:28 remaining in the third quarter. Wilson passed for 235 yards, with Graham catching seven passes for 83 yards and the touchdown.
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch left the game with a hamstring injury, but it was of no consequence.
The Bears defense played well, sacking Wilson four times — Pernell McPhee and Jarvis Jenkins had two each — but eventually wore down with the offense unable to stay on the field.
Jimmy Clausen, starting for injured Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, didn’t turn the ball over, but he also couldn’t get anything going. He missed open receivers — sometimes badly — and finished 9 of 17 for 63 yards. Bears running back Matt Forte ran for 74 yards on 20 carries, but had trouble establishing any sort of a rhythm with the Seahawks crowding the box.
