Bears Wr Alshon Jeffery Suspended 4 Games For Ped Use

Jeffery’s suspension begins immediately. He will be eligible to return to the Bears’ active roster on Dec. 12. 

Jeffery, who is scheduled to be a free agent this offseason, has 630 receiving yards on 40 catches and one touchdown this season. Playing on the franchise tag, the suspension is a major hit to Jeffery’s wallet as it will cost him $3,435,058.
