DiNucci completed 21 of 40 passes for 180 yards, lost two fumbles — one of which was returned for a touchdown — and spent a lot of his time rolling toward the sideline at the first sign of a pass rush. Wentz was 15 for 27 for 123 yards, with two touchdowns, two interceptions and two lost fumbles.

Both quarterbacks also made multiple throws that could have/should have been intercepted.

Both passers were sacked four times, as well.

The Cowboys led at halftime on the strength of three Greg Zuerlein field goals. Wentz threw his second interception on the first drive of the second half to add to the hilarity. DiNucci followed by leading the Cowboys on a drive consisting of mostly runs, only to see Zuerlein miss from 52 yards to keep it a two-point game.

Wentz led a touchdown drive, capped by his second TD pass, to put the Eagles ahead to stay. DiNucci’s second fumble was run back for Philly’s final touchdown. An intentional Dallas safety late in the fourth quarter made the final margin 23-9 for the Birds.

For those watching on TV, either for business or pleasure, and commenting on Twitter, this was just . . . bad.
