Roethlisberger injured his left foot in the fourth quarter of the Steelers’ 38-35 win over the Raiders on Sunday. After taking a sack near midfield, he left the field with help and was taken to the locker room on a cart. Later, he left the stadium for further evaluation.

Roethlisberger has a foot sprain and is expected to miss a few weeks, according to multiple reports. An MRI is scheduled for Monday. He missed four full games with a sprained MCL and bone bruise in that leg earlier this season.

Pittsburgh went 2-2 without him, though they got uneven play from backups Michael Vick (also injured) and Landry Jones, who entered the game for Roethlisberger with the Steelers up 35-28.

Before his injury, Roethlisberger had gone 24 of 44 with 334 yards and two touchdowns.

Pittsburgh (5-4) lost running back Le’Veon Bell for the season last week with a torn MCL.
