Tate has bounced between three teams since March 2014. He signed a two-year deal with the Browns last year but was released in November after his playing time receded in a three-back system. He was picked up off the waiver list by the Vikings but was released after just three game appearances. The Steelers then snagged Tate when Le’Veon Bell was injured before the playoffs.
