The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has updated its oddsboard and posted props ahead the 2015 U.S. Open, which tees of Thursday at Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington.
There’s been no change at the top since earlier this week, with Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth priced well ahead of the rest of the field , at odds of 7-to-1 and 8-to-1, respectively.
Tiger Woods’ odds were raised from 50-to-1 to 60-to-1, and in another indication of how far he has fallen, Woods is an underdog to make the cut, with the ‘No’ side of that prop priced at -140 and ‘Yes’ offered at +120.
Other props on Tiger: – OVER/UNDER finish position: 74.5 – Will he finish in top 20? (Yes +300, No -360) – OVER/UNDER first-round score: 73.5
As far as golfers who figure to be more relevant at Chambers Bay, there is ample opportunity to bet on guys like Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler, Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose, as well as McIlroy and Spieth.
In addition to odds to win, the Westgate is offering a healthy array of head-to-head props where you can wager on matchups featuring, for example, McIlroy vs. Spieth, Johnson vs. Rose, Fowler vs. Mickelson, Watson vs. Garcia, McIlroy vs. Mickelson and Watson vs. Furyk. That’s just the start of a long list, which can be perused in its entirety below.
Then, of course, there are the non-player based props. ‘Will there be a hole-in-one’ is always one of the most popular of these, and for this week’s tournament, ‘Yes’ is the +110 underdog, with ‘No’ priced at -130. And how about lowest completed round? The total is set at 66.5 with UNDER juiced to -150 and OVER offered at +130.
Here are odds to win on players priced 30-to-1 or below (numbers as of Monday in parentheses, if changed), as well as some of the props available for betting at the Westgate.
