Bill Belichick Has Fun With Media While Providing Tom Brady S Injury Update

The quarterback hadn’t been practicing all week with what the team described as a knee injury. If New England is going to be without its star quarterback, then Sunday’s game against the Jets will be dramatically different. So reporters had to ask Belichick about Brady’s injury status, and it led to a fun exchange on Friday.

REPORTER: Do you expect Tom Brady to play this weekend?BELICHICK: We’ll list Tom on the injury report like we always do, like everybody else. Is that the answer you were hoping for?

REPORTER: Not hoping for but expecting.BELICHICK: OK, good. I don’t want to disappoint you.

The good news for Patriots fans, however, is that Brady returned to practice Friday. We expect him to play unless he suffers a setback.
