In 2016, Clinton garnered nearly 3 million more individual votes than Trump, but the president won by a significant margin in the Electoral College due to a series of wins in battleground states. Trump won 306 electoral votes while Clinton only garnered 232. Several of the key battleground states – including Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida and Pennsylvania – had gone blue for former President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 before flipping red for Trump....

The president’s campaign confirmed its August earnings in an announcement Wednesday, saying it collected upward of $210 million since July. The latest monthly total incorporated financial contributions from the Republican National Committee as well as joint fundraising committees, and it marked a new fundraising record for Trump’s re-election effort. According to the president’s campaign, about one-third of its August earnings, totaling $76 million, came from Republican National Convention viewership....

When it comes to caring about people, Biden is favored by 63 percent of voters compared to just 44 percent who say the same of Trump. On temperament, Biden is backed by 49 percent as opposed to just 37 percent who favor Trump....

Biden made his comments during a 60 Minutes interview that aired Sunday night. Interviewer Scott Pelley reminded the president that he vowed to run again, but asked Biden if he was still set on it. “My intention, as I said to begin with, is that I would run again. Snake rescuer Nick Evans received a call form an electrician who had spotted a mamba in the basement area of a block of flats in Pinetown—an urban area located around 10 miles west of Durban, according to a Facebook post. The black mamba is a large snake native to parts of sub-Saharan Africa know for its size, speed and extremely potent venom. It is considered to be one of the most dangerous snakes in the world....

The Museum of Unnatural History describes Bigfoot as a “hairy giant” that stands “seven to nine feet tall and weighs between 600 and 900 pounds.” Bigfoot, who is also known as Sasquatch in North American folklore, is purported to live alone in the forest.
