Baylor Football S Duck Dynasty Tribute Is Must See Photo

Now, with Baylor set to take on Louisiana Monroe, we get this great Photoshop job. We've called Baylor's athletic department to find out what, if anything, the "Duck Dynasty" guys might be doing at this week's game. UPDATE: Sadly, we’ve been told the Duck Dynasty crew isn’t actually coming. They were at the game last season against ULM.

Bds Is About Bigotry Opinion

Since its beginning in 2005, the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement has been hiding behind the façade of a “peaceful” effort to influence Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians and forge ahead with a two-state paradigm. This is the narrative espoused by leftist college students, progressive activist groups and mainstream media outlets. But if they would listen to the words of its co-founder, Omar Barghouti, they would know that BDS is about ending Israel’s very existence....

Bears Running Game Saves The Day And Marcus Cooper Against Steelers

But the Bears would not have needed overtime if not for a crucial mistake just before halftime. With six seconds left in the second quarter, Steelers kicker Chris Boswell’s 35-yard field goal attempt was blocked by Sherrick McManus, and the ball fell into the hands of Bears corner Marcus Cooper, who ran it back 73 yards. Instead of running for a touchdown, however, Cooper slowed down before the goal line, and Steelers tight end Vance McDonald forced a fumble at the 1-yard line....

Bears Trade Marshall To Jets

The news isn’t all that surprising after the Bears made it clear this week that Marhsall was available, but it’s still going to create serious ripple effects in both Chicago and New York. For the Bears, Alshon Jeffery becomes the team’s undisputed No. 1 receiver and should be drafted as such in 2015. Of course, the next major move for Chicago will be figuring out the quarterback situation. We like Jeffery’s value with Jay Cutler under center, but there could be a switch this offseason....

Bears Vs. Packers Odds Prediction Betting Trends For Nfl S Sunday Night Football Game

Chicago and Green Bay play again in Week 17, so it’s critical to extend to three vs. dwindle to one. How will the Bears respond with their season on the line, given the wild card seems out of reach?...

Beckerman Edu Locked In Battle For World Cup Spot

Whether true or not, Edu and Beckerman are seen as two men vying for the same spot on the U.S. World Cup spot. If you subscribe to the belief that Jurgen Klinsmann is likely to bring two defensive midfielders to Brazil, and Jermaine Jones is going to be one of them, then in theory, that leaves one spot up for grabs for Beckerman and Edu (and Reading's Danny Williams for that matter)....

Behind The Demise Of On Field Bullpens In Mlb And Their Lasting Imprint On The Game

Johnson, the 6-10 left-hander marked by a signature lampshade mustache, stood from his bluish-gray seat down the left field line and began to throw. Seattle’s bullpen was located on the field at the time, putting him in sight of all 57,000 fans, and the crowd almost immediately recognized the significance of his practice tosses. Behind The Scenes With Daniel Jacobs How He Became A Winner Despite Losing Vs. Canelo Alvarez

Rarely, if ever, does the runner-up find himself in a better position as the one who came up short. But that doesn’t mean that his or her story is any less important. In the case of Daniel “The Miracle Man” Jacobs, his narrow but definitive loss to the sport’s most popular and highest paid pugilist can be seen as a minor setback for an individual who was on the brink of paralysis just over a half decade ago due to osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer....

In fact, Washington’s interest goes well beyond geopolitics: 40,000 American expats in Hong Kong far outnumber their British counterparts, and U.S.-Hong Kong trade exceeds $24 billion a year. Beijing Spokesperson Compares Persecuted China To Simba From The Lion King

Spokesperson Hua Chunying made the analogy at a daily press briefing on Thursday when questioned about China’s recent “Wolf Warrior” approach to international relations. The phrase has origins in two patriotic Chinese films of the same name and now refers to an assertive and aggressive style of diplomacy, where the threat of military intervention and economic sanctions trumps soft power. Hua’s colleague, Zhao Lijian, was recently accused of being a “Wolf Warrior” diplomat when he started a fresh row with Australia by tweeting a doctored image showing an Australian soldier killing a young Afghan child....

Belarus Army Has Minimal Capability Won T Be Able To Help Russia U.K.

Earlier this month, the country’s president, Alexander Lukashenko, announced there would be a joint regional grouping of 70,000 Belarusian troops and up to 15,000 Russians in response to what he described as increased tensions on its western borders. Belarus has stayed away from direct involvement in the war in Ukraine so far, although its location north of Ukraine was used as a springboard for Russia’s invasion in February. Russia has also amassed some troops and tanks in Belarus, while Lukashenko has relied on Russian President Vladimir Putin to stay in power, after claiming victory in the 2020 election that was condemned as fraudulent....

Belarus Ends Efforts To Stop Migration To Eu Bans Some Eu Officials From Country

Belarus’ Foreign Ministry said it is suspending a readmission agreement with the EU aimed at stopping the flow of illegal migration. It also said EU officials involved with drafting sanctions against Belarus will be banned from the country, without naming those to be banned. The EU issued economic sanctions on Belarus on Thursday over its forced diversion of a Ryanair flight to apprehend a journalist in May. “We note with deep regret that the forced suspension of the agreement will have a negative impact on cooperation with the EU in the field of combating illegal migration and organized crime,” Belarus’ Foreign Ministry said....

Beliefwatch Heavenly

A few months ago a thin book that has been in print for nearly three years arrived in the top 10 of The New York Times paperback nonfiction list. Last week it rested at No. 6. “90 Minutes in Heaven” is an extraordinary story. Written by a Southern Baptist minister named Don Piper and a coauthor, “90 Minutes” is a firsthand account of Piper’s devastating 1989 car wreck (his red Escort was, essentially, run over by an 18-wheeler), his trip to heaven–and his miraculous return to earth and life, thanks to the prayers of a fellow pastor....
